Syukuran HUT ke-77 Korps Brimob Polri Tahun 2022 dilaksanakan di Mako Satbrimob Polda Sumsel Jalan Srijaya Negara Bukit Lama Palembang, Senin (14/11/2022). Adapun tema HUT Brimob tahun 2022 ini adalah Berani Ikhlas Berbakti untuk Negeri.
Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru mengatakan, ini perayaan HUT Brimob ke-77yang dibalut rasa syukur yang luar biasa. “Saya mewakili warga sipil di provinsi Sumsel mengucapkan selamat ulang tahun dan terima kasih dan bangga kepada Brimob yang selama ini sangat dirasakan keberadaannya oleh masyarakat Sumsel,” ujarnya.
Kapolda Sumsel lrjen Pol. A. Rachmad Wibowo, S.I.K mengatakan, pada HUT ke-77 ini untuk terus menjaga spiritnya. Sebagai Dansat Brimob Polda Sumsel Kombes Pol. Donyar Kusumadji, S.I.K mengingatkan kembali kalau polisi berasal dari rakyat, dan harus senantiasa membela rakyat.
Lebih lanjut Rachmad Wibowo menuturkan, Brimob adalah pasukan elit m, pasukan khusus yang memiliki keterampilan dan peralatan khusus untuk menghadapi kejahatan intensitas tinggi.
“Harapan kita, Brimob semakin profesional semakin dicintai masyarakat dan bisa mengetahui kapan menggunakan kekuatan dan kapan harus menggunakan pendekatan dengan masyarakat,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, Dansat Brimob Polda Sumsel Kombes Pol. Donyar Kusumadji, S.I.K menuturkan, tema HUT Brimob ke-77 ini Adapun tema HUT Brimob tahun 2022 ini adalah Berani Ikhlas Berbakti untuk Negeri.
“Memang Brimob itu merupakan penugasan khusus. Tidak seperti tugas umum 5 kepolisian, karena Brimob memang untuk menanggulangi suatu kejahatan berintesitas tinggi,” katanya.
Ketika ditanya apakah Brimob Polda Sumsel ikut mengamankan G20 di Bali, Donyar menuturkan, sudah disiapkan 210 personil yang diambil dari batalyon A dan batalyon B. Mereka disana dari tanggal 7 operasi sampai dengan tanggal 17,” bebernya.
Ketika ditanya apakah akan mendirikan kompi di daerah rawan di Sumsel, Danyor mengungkapkan, itu akan dilihat dulu kebutuhan termasuk ancaman perlu pengkajian. “Seandainya memungkinkan secara infrastruktur siap ya kita siap,” bebernya.
“Brimob itu melaksanakan tugas sesuai dengan tugas pokok kita. Sesuai dengan tema setia berani dan ikhlas dalam berbakti untuk negeri, itu saja, ” tandasnya. (Yanti)
