Kegiatan diarahkan bagi anak-anak muda yang kreatif dan pengembangan bagi musisi yang ada di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin.
Komandan Kodim 0401 Muba Letkol Arm Dede Sudrajat SH, mengatakan jika tidak memberdayakan anak-anak muda dikhawatirkan takut terjerumus ke tindakan negatif.
“Misalnya terjerat kenakalan remaja, seperti menggunakan narkoba dan obat-obatan terlarang,” ujar Dede, di sela-sela kegiatan festival musik akustik jenis folk song tersebut, Rabu (4/1/2023).
Selain itu, katanya, festival musik akustik tersebut digelar untuk memperingati HUT Kodam II Sriwijaya. “Peringatan HUT Kodam II Sriwijaya tahun ini digelar dengan corak berbeda dibanding tahun sebelumnya,” tukas Dede.
Karena itu kegiatan tersebut banyak melibatkan anak-anak muda yang gemar bermusik, sehingga bakat mereka bisa dikembangkan.
Menurut Dede, ada 20 kelompok grup yang ikut menyemarakkan festival musik akustik HUT Kodam II Sriwijaya itu.
Dalam kegiatan festival musik akustik tersebut, penyelenggara mengusung tema TNI Hebat bersama generasi muda yang kreatif.
“Jika diamati, para peserta sangat antusias. Mereka datang dari berbagai kecamatan di Muba. Saya sangat mengapresiasi kemampuan bermusik mereka,” jelas Dede.
Progres ke depannya, kata Dandin 0401 Muba, diharapkan dapat tercipta generasi muda yang memiliki jiwa membangun dan anti perbuatan negatif.
Dari penyelenggaraan festival musik akustik tersebut, kata Dede, diharapkan tampil artis-artis muda Muba yang mampu berkiprah secara nasional.
“Paling tidak, mereka bisa berkiprah dan mampu memperbaiki ekonomi masing-masing, sehingga mampu membangun kesejahteraan hidup masing-masing peserta,” imbuhnya.
Sementara itu, Wasil –seorang peserta– menyambut positif pergelaran festival musik akustik tersebut. “Ini bisa menyalurkan bakat para musisi muda yang ada di Kabupaten Muba,” ujar Wasil.
Anak muda ini berharap agar kegiatan serupa dapat digelar dengan frekuensi yang lebih banyak, sehingga para pelaku musik di Muba dapat menyalurkan dan mengembangkan bakat mereka. (*)
